Waxing

Waxing is hair removal by the root, and can be done anywhere on the body except a man's beard.

The goal is to remove the hair by the papilla, which is the nourishment bulb. This stunts regrowth, and causes hair to return finer in texture, or not at all. Two weeks growth is necessary to fully grasp the hair.

Contrary to popular belief waxing does not proliferate hair growth. Because each hair has its own growth cycle, regrowth is sporadic and stunted. Most people schedule waxing appointments every 4 to 6 weeks.
